How it works

What happens, and when.

Renovation anxiety is mostly not knowing what comes next. Here is the whole thing.

1 · The visit

We come to the house, look at what you've got, and talk about what you want. Bring the Pinterest board — it tells us more than a floor plan does. Usually within 48 hours of you getting in touch, and it costs nothing.

2 · The scope and the price

You get a written scope within a few days: line by line, with allowances called out where you haven't picked finishes yet. The price is fixed against that scope. If we can't do it for the number, we say so then.

3 · Drawings and permits

Where the job needs them, we handle drawings, engineering and the permit application, and we deal with inspections. You don't take a day off for the city counter.

4 · The build

Trades booked in sequence before we start. One project manager who knows your job. Photos and progress in your portal every week, without you asking.

5 · Changes, if any

Quoted in writing and approved by you before the work happens. This is the single thing that turns a good renovation into a bad one, and it is the thing we are strictest about.

6 · Finishing and the warranty

Deficiency walk-through with you, list agreed, list cleared. One-year workmanship warranty from the day we hand it back.
